Simply follow the relatively easy (and un-failable) story until you eventually get your raptor mount. It is part of the quest that each character is automatically given upon entering the zones so it is extremely easy to figure out where you are supposed to go. Let's start with the first mount that you will receive and this happens relatively quickly once you have entered the Crystal Desert. You will want them and I think that is kind of the idea behind their marketing. Therefore you also will not have access to mounts. However, certain premium content such as mounts, can only be acquired in certain maps that if you have the free, base version of the game, you will not have access to. I had previously mentioned that this game is free to play, free to download, and has no monthly fee. Everything from the animations to the abilities themselves feels satisfying, with the end result being a surprisingly enjoyble mount system.This is in relation to the MMO Guild Wars 2. I've only had the chance to ride the Raptor so far, but I must say I'm quite impressed with the work ArenaNet put in. Its about four minutes long, but its definitely worth the time as it also tells the tale of mounts that never came to fruition, mounts such as the giant Corgi! Guild Wars 2's Path of Fire expansion is set to arrive later this month, bringing with it a whole bunch of new content to mess around with.
